If you are a new client it is important that you bring a copy of your PRIOR YEAR federal and any state TAX RETURNS AS FILED.

Form 1095-A if you purchased health insurance through the exchange or marketplace.

Anything that is labeled IMPORTANT TAX DOCUMENT which should include the following forms: W-2, W-2G, K-1, any 1099 series document and/or 1098 series document.

If you PURCHASED a property, SOLD a property or REFINANCED a mortgage, bring in a copy of the CLOSING or SETTLEMENT statement(s).

CAR TAXES paid, REAL ESTATE TAXES paid, MORTGAGE INTEREST paid, UNION DUES, UNREIMBURSED JOB EXPENSES, CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS, INVESTMENT EXPENSES(managed account fees).

DEPENDENT CARE EXPENSES, will need tax ID number and address of the provider.

HEALTH CARE Insurance Premiums paid, MEDICAL AND DENTAL EXPENSES for you, spouse and dependents.

If you SOLD any STOCKS, BONDS or SECURITIES or had MUTUAL FUND redemptions, please bring in any COST BASIS information you have on the original purchases.

If you had SELF-EMPLOYED income or RENTAL PROPERTY, you will need to bring in all the information on gross INCOME and EXPENSES.

It is impossible to list everything which may apply, so if in doubt, bring the information with you.
