KAREN L CRANFORD, CPA, PC

In order to achieve the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, an individual must successfully complete 150 semester hours of college credit in specific areas of study (I have completed 177 semester hours), demonstrate experience in the field of accounting (four years experience in the field of accounting or teaching accounting or one year experience under the direct supervision of a licensed CPA), pass a four part standardized licensing examination, and complete a North Carolina Accountancy Law Course. Additionally, each candidate must receive the endorsement of three Certified Public Accountants who will attest to their moral character. In addition, continuing professional education (a minimum of 40 hours per year) is required on an ongoing basis to maintain certification. For certain areas of practice peer reviews of the CPAs work are required and a state board governs many of our activities.

For the client, I believe this enables you to count on your personal CPA for integrity, experience, and up-to-date education and training. I will be sincerely grateful for the trust you will place in me as one of your trusted financial professionals. I am your personal “CFO For Hire™”.
